The Peacock

I have been going to this restaurant since 1983 and it has almost always been good, but the last two times the pizzas were either burned or uncooked, and twice Rino was upset when I informed him. He was so mad that he started to scream at the employees in front of everyone. I think Rino is very nice when everything works well and then he is like a peacock, but as soon as something is wrong the werewolf comes out!! He needs a good Crew Resource Management course. Tonight I decided that not only his CRM was bad but also his Customer Relationship Management. I decided that enough is enough because when I politely told him that the shellfish and the pizza were both uncooked he went to pick up a tupperware of shellfish from the kitchen and brought it out to our table, and told me loudly (so that everyone else could hear) that they cooked them twice, and then he started to eat them from the tupperware to try to prove his point. It was extremely rude and unprofessional of him to treat us this way and make such a loud display about it in front of everyone in the restaurant. I'm not the type to complain but when I'm paying 16 euros for a pizza, I expect it to be cooked properly and to not be treated like a second class citizen when I ask for the situation to be corrected. The waitstaff were extremely apologetic for his behavior and also for the food not being satisfactory but I will not being eating again at this restaurant because of Rino's attitude towards my family tonight (which is really a shame since I have been such a long-time customer there). And to top it off, tonight we went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and we were treated so rudely on a night that should've been a fun family memory for us.
