I ordered mussels and they were so dry and chewy that I sent them back and ordered something else. The cook was not willing to comp my meal, but the restaurant did comp a glass of Chardonnay, which was nice of them. More than anything, I'm upset about the quality of the mussels - why serve them at all?! I tasted my other family members' meals and they were all fine. The service at the restaurant was fine too (except for the manager not comping the meal - I guarantee you with 100% they would not have eaten those mussels either - I'm not picky!) and so is the setting - really fun! I might possibly give this restaurant another chance next time I visit Belgium from California, but definitely will not be ordering mussels and fries.
