Very disappointing. This was my second meal here - choosen for a meal with children. I think this restaurant could be great, but ultimately the very mediocre food let's it down. The food is not bad, it is just very bland and uninspired. If you can't make a good sole meuniere or chocolate mi-cuit then it is best not to have them on the menu at all!

Choose this restaurant on the basis of the excellent reviews above... We had a very under whelmining experience. My carparcio de boeuf starter was bland and watery and my fiance’s salmon / aubergine carpacio was lacking taste. My fiance ordered filet pur a point - it was instead bien cuit! The chef offered coffee! My chicken cassoulet was again amazingly bland and watery - no taste. Very disappointing. I will not be recommending to friends.

Possibly one of the most over rated restaurants in Brussels. The concept is great and the atmosphere can be great. But if you want to eat anything other than a continental breakfast (i.e. oj/hot chocolate/tea consumed with bread and/or croissants & spreads/confitures) then it is not very good. PQ fresh foods (their salads in particular) are of very poor quality! Their concept of turkey/chicken is thinly sliced or diced processed meat! Awful! Also their smoked salmon leaves much to be desired! The salads we ordered came with pickled (!!) vegetables and some tasteless tomatos and salad leaves. The coffee is acrid! The service is bad. The price does not match the quality. They should introduce some new tartines / sandwiches!

Other restaurants can learn a lot from the Museum Brasserie. Three of us ate here on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent. The service was exceptionally friendly and competent. A good (use friendly) wine list. The most positive new dining experience I have had in Brussels for years!

This restaurant was highly recommended to me by a friend. I was however very disappointed. The service in no way merits a 1-star Michelin rating. Worst I have had in a long time! The food was ok. The wine list is mediocre. Not a place I would recommend,
